Founded on May 18, 2007, Istanbul Aydın University grew out of the experience and history of Anadolu Bıl Vocational University of Higher Education, which was established in 2003 as a result of previously established links. Istanbul Aydin University has a unique position in Türkiye thanks to the experiences gained from two distinguished universities.

The two institutions were brought together under one roof with the establishment of Istanbul Aydın University, where they began offering education for associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, and master’s degrees. Both Istanbul Aydin University and Anadolu Bel Vocational School of Higher Education are based on the land of Anadolu Education and Culture Foundation (AKEV), which enhances uniqueness and excellence in providing educational services.
